THE JOB AT A GLANCE
In this position you will have a vital role in ensuring we provide Carbon Health patients with excellent customer service. You will be directly helping patients through inbound and outbound billing inquiries.  You will be responsible to ensure they have a positive and satisfactory experience. This is a forward-facing role with high visibility and importance at Carbon Health. Hours for this role vary from 8am-6pm PDT.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
•Provide exceptional friendliness, empathy and thorough customer service to patients inquiring about their bills via phone and email
•Process and follow up on claim re-submittals Post payments as needed in a timely manner
•Proactive outreach to patients and partner billing team as needed
•Research and resolve patient billing problems or issues
•Maintain operation integrity by following policies and procedures; but also suggesting process improvements that will benefit patients, clinicians, colleagues and overall operations
•Multi-tasking with all of the above
ABOUT YOU
•A minimum of 1+ years of medical billing experience required
•Familiarity with Apple products, Google Suite apps and working knowledge of Excel
•Must have the ability to remain focused and calm during stressful situations
•In depth knowledge of how health insurance works
•Must have the ability to speak clearly, professionally and eloquently
